Malachite in Silver.

This is Green Banded Malachite from deep in the jungle of the Africa. 

She measures 42 x 18 mm. Then was  hand wrapped in .925 Sterling Silver wire.

The overall size of this beauty is 65 x 20 mm (Approx. 2 & 1/2" x 3/4").

The high gloss glass face is satiny smooth.

Malachite encourages tolerance, flexibility, and patience, creating a stabilizing influence. It moves energy from the higher planes and grounds it into the green earth. When used in meditation or focused concentration, it brings out the true reality of the subject to the person, helping one to pursue the correct path.

This is one of a handful of stones that I still have which were cut by one of my early inspirations, Chris "The Wired Artist" McQuire.

The delicate precision of the cut is enhanced by the fact that if you look closely, there are two sides.

He cut most of his pieces to be worn from either side.
