Layer upon layer the paint built up on the paint racks and was oven baked after each coat, sometimes up to a 100 times. As a result, each piece is a truly rare and beautiful stone that is singular. What makes this all the more important is that the techniques which produced this great rough years ago, are no longer used. Cars now get painted with an electrostatic process that leaves little, or no overspray.
